We met Mr. Colbert for the first time on Aug. 10, 2019 at his grandson and our daughter's life event. He was full of life and such a great sense of humour. We are so glad we had the opportunity to meet him and offer our condolences to the entire family and friends for this loss. It seems he lived everyday to its fullest. May he rest in peace.

Our sincerest sympathies to Doreen and their huge loving family. I'm sadden at the passing of your dear Ernie, I always remember his smile and his infectious laugh! I remember the family reunion at your place in Arnprior, and the many that we saw you two at over the years. When I married a Westmeath man I remember always looking and saying my hellos from the car when we passed your place from the highway. I know Dad is welcoming Ernie home and probably having a great old time talking about many memories they shared over the years. Doreen, I pray you lean on others during this time, it will be hard but even though it's like half of you is in heaven, remember the good times, and tell your grandchildren and great grandchildren all about Grandpa Ernie so that it will be like he is still here with us. Cry, Grieve but remember you will be together again one day until then let Ernie live on the memories. Unfortunately I won't be able to make it on Wednesday I wish I could but the drive is too far for my back and my fibromylgia but we will be there in Spirit and you will be in our thoughts and prayers. Love and Hugs God Bless Ernie rest in peace and say Hello to Daddy for me!
