Obituary of Freda Baskin

nee Wilson With heavy hearts we announce that Freda passed away at Almonte Country Haven on Tuesday morning, March 3, 2020. She was 94. Beloved wife of the late Russell Baskin (February 27, 1978). Loving mother of Wayne and Leonard (Dale). Dear sister of Fern Boyd (late Garfield). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren: Katarin, Kim, Tara, Megan, Jodie, Lauren, Cody, Lisa, Lindsay and Tyler, and 11 great-grandchildren. Freda was predeceased by her sons: Roy (late Irene) and Bruce (Myrtle), her daughter Judy Ayotte, as well as two of her grandchildren: Ryan and Brad. Also predeceased by siblings: Gerald Wilson (late Joan), Elizabeth Boyd (late Johnny), Lorne Wilson and Tommy Wilson (late Ethel). Daughter of the late Oscar and Ella (nee Barclay) Wilson. Freda’s final care was entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John street North, Arnprior where visitation took place on Friday, March 6th from 7 to 9 p.m. as well as Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. A funeral service followed in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o’clock.
