As a fellow Ottawa Valley Associated Railroaders (OVAR) member, Doug will be missed. We sat at the same table every month at the OVAR dinners. I enjoyed many stories about Parrots. Doug always brought something for the display at the OVAR meetings and had a very interesting layout at the Arnprior train show. I will really miss Doug. My deepest condolences to all of Doug's friends and family.
As the current Webmaster of our Mississippi Valley Associated Railroaders, on behalf of all members, we would like to offer our condolences to Doug Lake Family and Friends.
For many years Doug would travel down from Arnprior for club nights, and participate in Train talk and solutions.
I have always been intrigued by his layout and enjoyed him attending the Model Train Shows.
