I only knew Marjorie from a online group but we kept in touch for years. When I was fortunate to visit Toronto with work I hoped to meet up with her but it wasn't to be. I sent her some Welsh goodies. Lovely lady and I'm sad to read her obituary. God bless x

I had the blessing of caring for your Dad years ago which gave me the privileged to get to know them both and enjoy their company, we had many laughs together as we shared our lives. Your mom always greeted me with her warm smile and we were looking forward to seeing more of each other as I have moved my mom into Islandview :( I wonder what boat they are in now :) Love and Prayers cindy burns

Terribly sorry to hear of the passing of Marjorie. She was a dear friend of my mother Jenny Elliott at the Island View. When my mother passed Marjorie made a quick fix for me on my mother’s Scottish kilt so I could wear it to her funeral. She will be missed at the Island View where she was a champion and fought for the residents. The last time I saw Marjorie was I think before Christmas and I remarked that she looked like a million bucks! My sincere condolences to all the family. Due to the current circumstances I’m not sure I’ll make it to the visitation but wanted to share my memories of a very special lady. May she Rest In Peace! Sandra Elliott
