Sorrow - Sympathy - Condolences, however, I don't know how to start / stop this.
Not only was John a loved husband, father, farmer, bushman, Rupp man, sportsman and hunter but a friend of all, His dedication, enthusiasm and contribution to community was boundless. In fall, he couldn't wait to tie on the skates and duplicate the hockey skills of 'Rocket' Richard and come spring arrive at the rink with his tractor to take the ice out in support of community.
Over the years, many stories were told, jokes pulled, some lies repeated and laughs shared all in the spirit of a dedicated Irishman. Having the opportunity of being part of this will never be forgotten. St. Patrick's day in Pakenham provided memories for many as Paddy McGinty's Goat ascended the stairs to the dance to greet and be greeted by all.
