To Bill, Jim, Marjorie & Family:
It broke my heart hearing that Mrs. Watters passed away. Her & Sloan were part of so may of my childhood memories (including the "Queenie Spoon"), and they still both hold a place in my heart. I believe that they are now both together again and watching over all of you.

My sincerest condolences to all the Watters-Dimmell family.
I first met Elaine back about 1991, when we had our Waters reunion in Fitzroy Harbour. Later, when I made my annual trips from my present home in St-Bruno to North Bay. On., if Elaine and Sloan were not at their cottage, I'd drop in a say hello and spend some time with them. Elaine always made sure we had something to eat. She either prepared a lunch to eat there, or prepared a couple of tasty sandwiches to eat on our way. A very pleasant and lovely person. . I'm sure she will be missed by all her family and friends.

To All of You, We were so sorry to hear about Elaine passing. I have great memories of our families spending time together at our cottages; making s'mores around your campfire, playing cribbage in the evening and Elaine always smiling ( although I know she was anxious to return to Arnprior) and doing word searches. Hold all your memories close as they will help you through this.

Some of my fondest memories with nanny are being up at the camp with her and grampa, they both each shared some great stories and we had so much fun with friends and family up there. Her Thanksgivings were also very memorable which brought us all together. I will always remember each of their unique laughs and smiles.
She was very kind and welcoming and both her and grampa had a long and beautiful life together, we will miss them both dearly however I’m sure they’re now rejoiced with their spirits looking down on us.
RIP Nanny Love you xoxo

To Jim, Marjorie, Bill and your families, sending heartfelt condolences to you on the loss of your wonderful Mom. She was my much-loved Aunt and I have special memories of her that span my lifetime, from picking berries with her, my Mom Betty and my cousins when we were kids, to roasting marshmallows at the cottage in Temagami, to ski trips in Quebec. Above all, Aunt Elaine was dedicated to her family. She was a homemaker extraordinaire but found time to volunteer in her community and help others when needed. She was my Mom's sister and her best friend and along with Uncle Sloan, they shared many happy times with my parents. We will all miss her but we are so blessed to have had her in our lives for so many years. Wishing you all peace and love and I look forward to the time when we can all get together and celebrate her life. Sending hugs from me and my Mom Betty.
