Jimmy and I worked together in the training department of Hydro One, he was always good for a one liner or breaking up a room with one of his anecdotes. Jimmy and i spent quite a bit of time together on a northern Ontario training excursion from Smiths Falls to Thunder Bay. Jimmy was the driver, tool and trailer set up guy and storyteller extraordinaire we had a alot of laughs on that trip and he always said it was one of the highlights of his career I'm glad i was part of that with him, RIP Jimmy. I am so very sorry to hear that you have lost a wonderful husband, dad, son, brother and step-father. I will always remember his quiet and sometimes sarcastic humour....and will never forget his "Donald Duck" imitations....he was the best.....and a favorite "Uncle Jimmy" to my girls. So glad he found happiness and enjoyed "getting out to the trailer" and the simple things in life after retiring. I will always remember him with a smile because that is how he always greeted me and no doubt everyone he met.
Please accept my sincere sympathy.....

Thinking about all Jimmy’s family. I have so many great memories of “Uncle Jimmy” as us three greenough girls would call him growing up. He was always good for a laugh.. I remember going to his house for sleepovers with the girls and he would always make us little dollar pancakes in the morning... we thought he was so funny when he would talk like Donald Duck lol... Memories out on the boat.... and at the cottage in sheen. It was always fun times when Jim was around!! When I got the forestry Job with Hydro Jim was my trainer... taught me how to put the perfect notch in a tree and would tell all the guys that I was showing them up! Hahaha (even though I really wasn’t good at it) will miss Jim. Thinking about you all and sending prayers and condolences. Natalie Greenough

So sad to hear of Jim's passing. I have many great memories of Jim, having worked with him at Hydro One. One of the fondest I have was actually when Jim did his Hulkamania routine prior to a Hydro hockey game. He tore off the blaze orange shirt Hulkster style to pump us up. Lead us to victory if I recall. lol. He was a gentle sole and will be missed.
