My deepest sympathy Arlene,Susan,Steve on the loss of husband & father.I have many happy recollections of meeting Jack going back to his days at hydro.I was moving to Arnprior and building a house & having problems with hydro .So every morning on coming to town my first stop was to see Jack to help solve my problems , always met with a smile and good morning.. House got built.Next was when you Arlene and Jack engaged me to sell your beautiful home in White Lake which was an honor to do .Over the years upon meeting somewhere there was always a friendly chat and his interest to know what I was up to and what was happening in town.Always had something positive to add. .A chat witht Jack was always an enjoyable moment in the day. The last time we spoke was on election day waiting in line to vote and Jack definitely had an opinion and along with his sly grin he would sometimes share a hint. It was such a privilege to have known this gentle kind & mild gentleman .Thanks for the memories

A very lovely picture indeed.
Uncle Jack was always like a movie star to me. Handsome, rugged, suave. On my way back out west one year, I was in my 20s, he told me “be tough”. So, I was. He looked out a lot over my Dad in a very protective way. Especially during the later years. I never met such an elegant mountain of a man.
