I just came across this obituary and cannot begin to express how devastated I am. Carol radiated good health, strength, kindness and her own unique wisdom and approach to life. I knew Carol for over 35 years and she never failed to impress me. My heartfelt condolences to her family.

I met Carol a couple of years ago and upon meeting her I immediately felt a warmth and love from her that made me want to be in her presence. She did a couple of healing sessions with me and we talked at length about our lives, families, her plans with her home.
She was working so hard to rebuild the eroded shore line and Carol was so proud of all of her hard work. We walked around the property as she very proudly showed me what she had done and her plans with the house. Spending time with Carol always meant putting aside a few hours because the conversations would be lengthy and I never got tired of them. I had tried calling Carol several times during the pandemics initial start because I knew she would have something interesting to say about it. When my friend tried calling again today and her number was no longer in service I decided to dig a little deeper. The news about Carol’s passing was a complete shock to say the least. She truly was a beautiful woman inside and out and gone from this earth far too soon. She was a very unique and special person and I will forever hold such fond and loving memories of her. May she Rest In Peace and be an angel to her dearly beloved family.

My deepest condolences for the loss of Carol, my heart and prayers go to her family in this time of sorrow.
I was introduced to Carol years ago through our mutual friend Anne, when I was going through a difficult time in my life. Despite the distances and ocean in between, Carol reached out to me and lent me her hand. With her big heart, great care and patience, she held my hand as I fought for my health. She constantly called, despite the time zone, to check on me, advise me and support me with her expertise in my challenging journey.
Her support and presence gave me strength to fight and win my battle. For this, I will forever be grateful to her.
My friend and guardian angel will always have a special spot in my heart.

HOPE, LOVE and LIGHT
To the family, our sincere condolences.
Years ago, our elderly mother Ruth was informed by her doctor that she had three weeks to live and that she should put her papers in order. I reached out to a stranger and was put in contact with Carol who kept Ruth with us for ten more years. Out of crisis comes opportunity. Over a duration of 25 years, Carol became the Doctor and Vet for the entire MacGillivray family, and a dear friend as well. Her daily calls became part of my life and I could not have known a better “sister.” Carol was kind and a very gifted healer who helped many people over the years. She was a very special and delightful lady who excelled at everything she did.
When we spot a really bright star shining and twinkling up in the heavens, we will know that Carol has found a new adventure. Carol, we love you and miss you.

I knew Carol from when I worked at the medical centre and because she was my doctor's nurse. Many years ago (25+), she extended a kindness to me at a very difficult time in my life. It was a small gesture, and she probably never thought of it again, but it meant the world to me at the time. I have never forgotten that kindness - she has a special place in my heart because of it.
