Obituary of Sherri Smith

With heavy hearts the family announce that Sherri passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at home in the morning hours of Monday, August 10, 2020; Sherri Lynne Smith of Arnprior was 51. Predeceased by her long time friend and companion, Jonathan “J.J.” Petruk. Beloved and devoted mother of Curtis and Chloe Perreault. Dearly loved sister of Steven (Tracey), Kevin, Judith Pierce, Doug (Karen), Jayne Stevens (Duane) and Chris (Geena). Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and many good friends. Daughter of the late Ronnie and Marion (nee Cox) Smith. Sherri spent many years working as a PSW at The Grove Nursing Home in Arnprior. Her kindness, love and generosity were shared with many as she always placed the needs of others above her own. A gentle spirit has gone to rest. Sherri’s final arrangements were entrusted to the professional care of the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A private family graveside service was held at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior. In memory of Sherri, please consider a donation to the Arnprior and District Humane Society.
