My sincere condolences to the Ring-Ade Family!
I had the good fortune to work with Bob at CN in Ottawa. It was always a pleasure to arrive at the yard office and see that Bob was going to be the Locomotive Engineer for that trip.

I worked with Bob many times as a 2nd engineer with Via and in Freight on Alex and Beachburg subs. He was a quiet and nice man and I really enjoyed his Company.

Bob was a great model railroading friend. It was sad to hear of his passing. He used to come to our home and help build a 2000 anniversary model of the Arnprior Railroad in 1950, Bob constructed some of the houses and provided a lot of information of the area at that time. You can see the model in the Arnprior Museum.I will miss Bob as we had many good times together. Please accept our sympathy. His friends Wilfred and Eileen Nicholas

I am so sorry for your loss. Bob had a great sense of humour and was such a good person and a great friend for a lot of years. We talked often on the phone and enjoyed many laughs at breakfasts out in Arnprior. I will certainly miss him.

Thank you, Dennis. Your organization provides an essential service for which we are most grateful. I have been fortunate to meet and chat with Mike Walsh, Ken Carroll, and Tim, whose last name escapes me at the moment. I want to thank them for their kindness, patience, and unfailing good humour on the drives to and from Renfrew.
Best,
Carolyn
