Our thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Carol, Phil, Reva, Allie, Jacky and Beth and their families. Susan was always a wonderful, caring, vibrant, and fun person. She enjoyed life to the fullest. We always had a great time when we were together, playing games, making food, or just visiting.
Susan, we loved you so much. You will be greatly missed but we know that God has a plan for you. You can now be at peace.
We wish we could be there to hug and support all of you during this time.
Love always,
Tara, Don, Chelsea, Kaylea, Shealyn

My condolences to Phil and the Family, I met Sue in 2001, upon moving to Uxbridge, continuing to learn quilting in a new community at Quilter’s Cupboard before Sue took over the store - she was always welcoming and encouraging and I sleep under a quilt made of star blocks in the first course I took with Sue (including the infamous border that Sue nicknamed the border from - well you know - it was that difficult). Thank you Sue for you comraderie and to your family may they find solace in all the remembrances here of your kindness and spirit. Jane Beckwith

We are having a difficult time believing that our precious, beautiful inside and out, oldest niece has left us to go to a New address in Heaven. She will be so happy there with her Lord, other family members and friends. We are feeling the loss and have a big hole in our hearts, deep sadness, but also joy in knowing that she is Happy in her new home, comforted and in no pain now.
We have watched her from the time of being a newborn baby grow into a wonderful human being, a great daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, and so much more. Suffering, she endured, and most times smiled and laughed her way through it.
We send our condolences, love and support to you Phil, to Reva and Josh, Ali and Nate, Carol, Jacky and Jim, Beth and Barry and all Susan's wonderful friends that have shown us what friendship and relationships are all about.
Our prayers are about lifting you, asking God to give you comfort, peace and laughter as you remember her and celebrate her life
Our love and Sympathy

I met Sue when I went to Quilters Cupboard for the first time, 2003. I remember her welcoming smile, her laugh, her willingness to help in any way. In 2016, I was diagnosed with breast cancer and I remember going to Uxbridge for some fabric and sharing my news with Sue. She gave me her email address, her home number and her cell number and said call me anytime. Sue was such a huge encouragement to me through my surgery, chemo and radiation treatments, I remember meeting with her at the hospital before treatment (either hers or mine). I will never forget what she did for me, caring about me. She was such a fighter and always looking for the positives even when she wasn’t feeling her best. Phil, Reva and Ali, and the rest of Sue’s family, I pray that the Lord comfort you in your sorrow, strengthen you through this loss of Sue. May He be your constant source of peace. Upholding you all in prayer.

Im so sorry and sad to hear this news. My heart goes out to Sue’s family, and all the dear fiends who will miss her so much. I met Sue through the quilt shop and always appreciated her lovely manner with people, (and me) always so cheerful, kind and thoughtful. I also followed her Facebook page that allowed us into her life. She was always so upbeat, even at the hardest of times. She will be greatly missed. I will be remembering the family especially, that they will be comforted by knowing she was greatly loved by so many. May the Lord draw especially near to each one sorrowing at this time.

What a wonderful life Sue lived. We had the pleasure of knowing Phil and Sue when they lived in Alberta. I remember with fondness the skill she used to take my peonies and arrange them for Shannon's wedding. We got to meet the special daughters when they came to visit Sharron. The next few days, weeks, and months will be difficult but they will pass. When you look into the eyes of the little boys, or see a spectacular sunset, she will be there.
