((((( ❤ ))))) OMG 1 I knew her back in my younger days... I remember when she was dating Elwood & she sent me a picture of her wedding, which I still have ( have to look it up) .. She was my cousin. We were the same age. and loved to talk late into the night, & with her sisters - when we would visit My father, Gene ( Origene) was Rosairio"s - her father's brother . We'ed visit a few days on our way to Gatineau / Hull & again on way back home to U.S. (Wyandotte, Michigan So much fun and loved Aunt Bee's breakfasts & dinners . Just loved her as I loved them all - forever in my treasured memories. May she rest in peace & may God bless all her family & loved ones ❤ ❤ ❤ She is still as pretty as she was back then ! ( I wrote message on her obituary too )

Elwood and family,
Our thoughts have been with you through this difficult time. Paddy has been kind enough to keep us informed.
One of our everlasting memories was and is the time when our Ottawa Senator went down in a fight and badly wrenched his knee, for all the world to see his grimace on TV. The next afternoon he hobbled out to his big high truck to go somewhere. In front of our driveway at #2, he was turning to get ready to drive out and Kay stood there beside his truck, looking up at him pointing her finger, while she admonished him, "_____, you have to stop fighting!" _____ was looking at her and then up at Pat and I trying to contain ourselves. Priceless!
We send to you our deepest sympathy and were pleased we could join in via the webcast today.

To Woody and all your family you have our deepest sympathy on the passing of a very beautiful, kind, generous, loving sweet person!
Rest ensure she is very proud of all the things you and her family did for her at her time in the Civic Hospital!
As one of her golfing buddies on Tuesday and Thursdays, we sure miss her! There was on hole that gave her a lot of trouble (#2) but she never gave up!
I know she is up in heaven now with all the other angels!
Will keep you and all your family in our prayers.
RIP Kay ❤️

To Elwood and family
My sincere condolences on the the passing of Kay, a giving lover of life. Although many years have passed, I remember her taking me under her wing as a young teacher and mother, with invitations to your home and daily kindnesses at work. Often small kindnesses are nothing to the person bestowing them but are remembered for a lifetime by those who receive them.

Dearest Elwood, Alicia, Craig, Jordana, Alexa, Xavier, family and friends,
Please accept our sincere condolences for this great loss in your family. I was shocked to see this sad news. What a beautiful wife, mother and grandmother etc to have in your life. No doubt she shaped and molded all of you with her love and devotion. As I read her obituary, I learned a lot about her. How truly unselfish she was. How caring, compassionate, kind and giving of her love and time. I knew her but not as much as I wish I could have. We'd say "hi" and do small talk as she and Elwood would grace our "Volunteer Appreciation Dinners" and you could see the love and gentleness written all over her face. Her pretty smile said it all. Wasn't hard to guess what was behind that smile... it was all those beautiful gifts that God gave her to share with all of us. We were blessed to have her in our lives. She touched everyone with love and graciousness. Until we meet again Kay... keep smiling, and thank you for sharing "YOU" with all of us! Your legacy will live on in all of those you touched!
Sincerely,
Nancy Peck

To the Johnston and Normand Families,
We will remember Kay as a warm, kind and generous friend. Her smile was as big as her heart and as beautiful as her garden.
Kay also had a calm and positive disposition. We will think of her golfing Sandpoint GC especially at the second hole. During her set up she would say: "This time, I'm going to get this ball over that water." Even she missed, she would chalk it up to better luck next time. We officially named the pond - "Kay Lake".
Kay will be sorrowfully missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing her, and will be fondly remembered in our hearts.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family, Elwood.

Dear Elwood, Alicia, Craig and family,
I first met, and had the privilege of teaching with Kay, in 1977. She was so full of mischief! I could hear her giggle down the hall.
When Elwood and Kay moved to Arnprior and we first saw them, in church, it felt so good to have them close by: just around the corner.
We share your sorrow and our deepest sympathy goes to you.
Love and prayers.
