Brian, Connie, Shelley, Lynn, Mark, Heather - I read with sadness of another family member from the "10th Line" passing away. I remember taking my three young sons to the farm. They talked about all the fun they had - from throwing wood into the basement with Allan (even though it was no fun doing at home), to playing ball with the bigger guys on the lawn, and having supper with the big family. They talked about their visit for days. Memories they still have. We are thinking you all at this time.

News of Allan's passing brings memories of our many breakfast/lunches over the past ten years. We remember him sitting by his woodstove listening to the Valley Heritage radio station, feeding ducks on his "pond" and taking great pride in keeping his lawn cut and everything in its proper place. The Dairy Queen was a favorite destination of his and Tish. He enjoyed getting Lynnda's homemade cookies and as far as we know he never met a cookie he didn't like. He loved to get telephone calls especially when we were in Florida so that he could keep us up tp date on local happenings. Our condolences to his family.

To all the Stantons our sincere condolences...
I had the pleasure of meeting Allan late one night...very late actually and the week before our wedding. Brian, my brother and I were fishing across the road in the Carp River until the wee hours just enjoying a Saturday night when we went to leave we were STUCK in the mud...so we walked up to Allans and luckily
Chris Millerwood was there and came down and pulled us out with the tractor. Back we went to the farm and had a nightcap and visit. I forgot to mention we were covered in MUD from head to toe.
The next weekend at our Wedding reception...Allan and Tish were our guests and Allan said to me...”boy you clean up nice”! RIP Allan xo
