May his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him. Rolland was a neighbour of my brother, Peter. We enjoyed hearing Rolland advocate for himself. He expressed his views in the most colourful ways, which never failed to make us cheer for his determination and honesty. After asking me to open a bag, he offered me a piece of chocolate - such a kind gesture from a kind soul. May he rest in Eternal Peace. (Helen)

My sincere condolences to all of you in the loss of your wonderful husband and father. Rolly was a very caring man and always had a great sense of humor. He was highly regarded at the Arnprior Legion where he shared many tales and kept people in laughter. Cherish all of your fond memories.
I first met Rolly when my Dad asked him about building a brick bar-b-que at our campsite. Next thing you know he's building it. He had me laughing that day. He will be missed , may he now rest in peace.
From our family to yours, sending condolences for the loss of Rolly. He, as well as the Schnob family, was a big part of the neighborhood – our families closely connected in the earlier years. He and his brother Renee were hard workers and were well respected for their brick laying skills. In his later years, I remember Rolly sitting outside his front door on the stoop, relaxing and watching the world go by - and always a friendly hello and a story to share for the day.
