Obituary of Margaret Rose Leeck

(nee Gervais) Peacefully at the Groves Park Lodge in Renfrew on Thursday evening, October 8, 2020; Margaret Rose Leeck, a longtime resident of Ottawa passed away at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late René Granger (June 4, 2009). Dearly loved mother of Mary Jane Lathem (Brian) and Dennis Leeck (Joanne). Predeceased by a son, David Leeck (Blanka Johnston). Cherished Grandma of Erika Lathem (Kyle Burgess), Renée Lathem and Lauren Lathem (Scott Kirk), Matthew and Stephen Leeck and Crystal Murphy (Jason), and great-grandma of Liam, Kian and Caelyn. Margaret was the last surviving child of the late Narcisse and Lucie (nee Beaudry) Gervais. Predeceased by siblings: Kenneth, Alfred, Henry, Patrick, William, Theresa, Mary and Lucie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Margaret’s final care and arrangements were entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A private family graveside service took place in St. Columba’s Cemetery, Pembroke. In memory of Margaret, please consider a donation to your favorite charity.
