I just found out about Ralph's passing. My heart-felt condolences go out to his family. His parents and my folks met early in their teaching careers and I spent a few summers at their farm picking fruit and playing around their property in Vineland. Ralph was the perfect role model for me, 4 years his junior, in the early 70's. He always had a scheme going. One year it was trapping muskrats in the local creek and skinning them for sale. One year he had captured a baby racoon which he housed in an enclosure he built. Then there was the cherry and peach crops that we harvested for commercial purposes. There are dozens of memories of Ralph that still make me smile every time I drive through Vineland. Based on the other tributes to Ralph it appears that his joie de vivre that I experienced as a young teenager continued throughout his life right to the end. Rest in peace Ralph.

I always admired Ralph and loved Heather - its very tough sometimes when things go sideways. We hung out when we were young and he always had this chill demeanor - like when I rolled his brand new Polaris at high speeds on Lac Tremblant and shattered the cowl - he looked over with this wide smile and squinty eyes and he was like "no worries man"
Miss you Ralph...Love to the Families.

Ralph was my best childhood friend’s (Sara) dad.
I always remember Ralph with a smile on his face.. and dancing to Genesis.
One time, the family dog chewed up my ski goggles.. and since Sara and I planned on skiing that day, Ralph bought a brand new pair for me.. no hesitation, just kindness.
Sara, Ryan, I’m so sad for your loss.
