So sorry to hear of Augie's passing. Drivers on the River Road will miss his beautiful flowers! I also worked with him at Kenwood/ Weavex. He was such a gentle quiet man, great to work with, with a little twinkle in his eye for a gentle joke. The last of that little group who worked up in the lab at that time.
I was surprised to learn of his passing today. He is now at peace with his family. He always sent me pictures of his gardening which he was proud of. Earth's loss is now Heavens blessing.

I have known Augie for many, many years, way back when he worked in the lab at Kenwood Mills (later to be known as Weavex) He was a kind and caring gentleman, with a quiet sense of humour. I will miss your beautiful flower gardens that you were so meticulous in caring for. RIP Augie
I have known the Murkas all my life and was a very special friend of Ellen. The Murka property was always kept so well as Mrs. Murka was a terrific gardener. In the later years Augie kept it as well. We will sure miss his beautiful flower gardens. Braeside road will not be the same.
