Thank you for the lovely service. I always think of Uncle Dave as a sweet, humble, caring man that I could enjoy some laughs and a beer with. We always appreciated their visits to us on the west coast. (where my Timothy took his first steps to them! 1984) I am thankful that God placed him in a large family with me. I always felt blessed.
Today, I appreciated the words and memories everyone spoke. My favourite story was Jayden's about the chocolate bars!! ;-) So Uncle David.
Darren, your words were wonderful. I cried for you,
The pictures were awesome. I'd love to see them again.
Aunt Louise the song, at the end, did me in. It was perfect and I sang and cried along with it. Buss laughed that I knew the words.
I am so sorry Tara couldn't travel to be there, given the world circumstances!
Thank you for broadcasting this so we could all be in attendance. Happy and sad, laughter and tears, family and friends,
It was perfect. Hugs to you all. Love the Busse's

Extending our condolences and love to you, Louise, Darren, Tara and families, in the loss of your dear husband and father. Did not know Dave well, but do recall the sense of kindness and caring he seemed to carry around himself. You have been a fortunate family in the loving spirit you have shared, which I feel continues through the different realms we inhabit. May you be comforted and feel blessed with enduring love. You are in our hearts and prayers, Pat Allen & Len Dueck https://s3.amazonaws.com/skins.funeraltechweb.com/tribute-gestures/v2/butterfly.png

Louise, my condolences to you, Tara & Darren, as well as Dave’s extended family, friends, and colleagues. I’m so pleased that I was able to see you both in Edmonton a few years ago. I will always remember him as a quiet but self-confident gentleman, who was a true friend to my parents (amongst many others, no doubt), and a dedicated professional in his military career.
