Obituary of Beverley "Bev" Runtz

(nee Marshall) With sadness the family announces that Bev passed away peacefully at the Fairview Manor in Almonte on Monday evening, December 7, 2020. She was 86. Beloved wife of the late Wilbert “Wib” Runtz (March 8, 2000). Loved mother of David (Dianne) and Brenda Phillips, both of Arnprior. Loving grandma of Carrie Ann (Peter), Jenny (Justin), Jai-Michael (Malika) and MacDaniel (Samantha) and great-grandma of Jenna Mae, Jayna and Liam. Sister-in-law of Millie Runtz (late Lloyd) of Arnprior. Bev will be missed by her twin brother Bert Marshall of Kirkland Lake as well as her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters: Freda Cain, Doreen Hicks, Jean Priesto and Maudie Desabrais. Daughter of the late George and Susan (nee Donnelly) Marshall. Bev’s final care and arrangements were entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A private family graveside service took place at the Malloch Road Cemetery in Arnprior. In memory of Bev, please consider the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
