I always picture Nana’s grin Lynn described dancing with Ryan at our wedding, it’s one of my favourite memories. Nana danced the night away and was one of the last people to leave. Nana, we were so happy when you were able to came out to Alberta for a visit a few years ago, it gave us some memories that we will always cherish. Dad always kept us up to date on everything you were up to and I know he will especially miss your weekly phone calls. We will
miss you Nana. Love from all of us in Alberta who couldn’t be there today. Xo

Rest easy Nana. I'll remember you as a great story teller; able to engage and make friends everywhere you went. Thinking fondly of our trip to Wasaga beach and you laughing in your floaty while bouncing around the increasingly large waves. Such a special trip spent in the sunshine with all of the extended family. Another highlight would be the great Gnome prank of 2004, so many laughs with my mom and you.
Love you lots xox Ali

Goodbye Dorrene, Nana.
We will miss your kind devotion to, and affection for your grandchildren and great grandchildren.
It's fortunate that Lynn was able to accompany her Mom during her last weeks, and keep her company with loving attention.
Attached is a beautiful photo of Dorrene and her children she raised so well.
Rest in Peace, Nana.

Our deepest sympathy. Dorreen was a good friend to Bill’s mom, Pat. I know they shared some fun times together. Dorreen was also a great friend to her during their time together at Island View when Pat’s memory start to go, and for that we are very grateful to her.

Sending my thoughts to my dear friend, Lynn and the family....hard to say goodbye to a loved one .
I had the opportunity to meet Dorrene a few years ago, when Lynn and her mom were having a little holiday in Whistler. We had a most fabulous time, and I was so taken by Dorrene’s instant warmth towards me, and her sense of fun and adventure, and an ever-present twinkle in her eye. We went up the Whistler mountains on a series of gondolas and chairlifts, right to the lodge at the peak. And Dorrene was game and enthusiastic, and entranced by the beauty, every moment of the way. It was a special day, providing so many great memories..:.embracing adventure, and enjoying the beauty all around us, and each other’s company. I am so glad to have had that chance to meet Dorrene.

I cannot believe this wonderful Lady has left us for her Heavenly Home. I shall miss her spirit of living life to the fullest and the way she always had such a beautiful laugh and smile that twinkled her eyes. Lynn and Family, may the good Lord keep you close to His Heart as you get through these sorrowful weeks.

My sincere sympathies are extended to the Balle family. As a driver for the Seniors at Home program, I had the privilege of driving and escorting Dorrene to several of her appointments. She was a wonderful lady, with a keen wit and a quick sense of humour. Always a highlight of my day. She is missed already. May God bless the family during this difficult time.

My deepest sympathies are extended to the Balle Family. Dorrene was an active Board Member for many years with Arnprior-Braeside-McNab Seniors At Home Program Inc. volunteering her time and experience. Along with her husband Henry who was a dedicated Volunteer Driver, both Dorrene and Henry played an active part in our successes.

Dear Ken, Bruce, Lynn and families, I was so saddened to read of your Mom’s passing. We had so many years of wonderful times in the Braeside choir and of course at “pairs and spares” where she was often the life of the party! So many fantastic memories of a lovely lady. My condolences, Lorna (Villeneuve) Blackburn.

My sincere sympathy to Dorrene’s family.
I worked with Dorrene many years ago at The Met. What a wonderful lady to work with and later to meet in the street for a quick chat and a few chuckles of past days.
Rest Easy Dorrene.
