Sorry to just hear about the loss of your Mom! ! I bought many shoes from her shop on the corner of Arthur Street and Daniel Street. She was a great lady and will be missed. Thoughts and prayers are with you!
I have many great memories of Grandma but this without fail her crisp sense of humour came shining through on my wedding day when my grandma rose to say the prayer before our meal holding the microphone to her ear like a phone, until my dad(Ken) had to let her know to point to her mouth. She will be greatly missed by us on earth but celebrated with previously fallen family in heaven. Sleep well Grandma, save a dirty joke for me when we see each other again! I love you!

We were so happy that we had the opportunity to meet your mom. She was such a sweet lady, always graciously welcoming us into her home. We really enjoyed those visits and having the chance to talk and get to know her (even with the bird - ask Bernie). Viola was my late husband’s
Aunt, but I loved her like she was my Aunt.
She went through a pandemic at the beginning of her life and again at the end of her life.
My deepest sympathy in the loss of your deal mother - I knew her well when I lived in Arnprior and we shopped so many times in her great shoe store - she had a wonderful personality and accommodated everyone she dealt with.
