Obituary of Louis Vachon

(Retired – OC Transpo) With heavy hearts the family announces that Louis passed away at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Friday, February 5, 2021. He was 71. Dearly loved husband of Catherine Price. Treasured dad of Heather Vachon (Robert Bryant). Cherished Grandpa of Chelsea Perron (Clayton Crozier), Nathan Russell and Indigo Russell. Bonus Grandpa of Angel Perkins. Louis will be missed by his brothers: Jean (Rita), Claude (Isabelle) and François as well as his sisters: Dianne Vachon (Lise Latremouille), Jeanne Nolan (Bill) and Liette Clay (James). Brother-in-law of Joyce (Art), Joan, Bob (Gemma), Lorna and Gwyn (Rick). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Son of the late Jean-Paul Vachon and survived by his Mother Yolande (Cuillerrier). Just like his father before him, Louis had a great passion for driving, which came second only to his love for his family. He spent over 30 years driving for OC Transpo and enjoyed every moment. Louis’ final care and arrangements were entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A private family graveside service for Louis will be held in the Spring at the Malloch Road Cemetery in Arnprior.
