Obituary of Shirley Mainprize

(nee Cameron) With heavy hearts the family announces that Shirley passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Saturday morning, February 20, 2021; Shirley Beatrice Mainprize of Arnprior was 88 years of age. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Edward “Ed” Mainprize (December 28, 2006). Dearly loved and devoted mother of James “Jim” (late Marion) of Chelmsford; David (Liane) of Perth; Paul (Paula) and Sue Duff (Ken), both of Arnprior. Cherished and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends. Dear sister of Erva Michelson (late Wib). Daughter of the late Matthew and Mary (nee McLean) Cameron, Shirley was also predeceased by her only brother, James (late Jean) Cameron as well as sisters: Zelma Walsh (late Roy), Jean Yuck (late Daniel) and an infant sister, Margaret. Shirley was a lifelong member of Glad Tidings Pentecostal Church in Arnprior, she dedicated much of her life to her Lord and Saviour. She will be missed. Shirley’s final care and arrangements were entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. Extended family and friends were invited to join us on their electronic devices for a service to be webcast live on Tuesday morning, February 23rd at 11 o’clock. Spring interment Castleford Cemetery. In memory of Shirley, a donation to the Arnprior Regional Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
