Obituary of Frank Gemmill

Peacefully, in his sleep on Sunday morning, February 28, 2021 at the Perth Community Care Centre, Frank passed away in his 80th year. Predeceased by his wife Pauline Bigras (2016) as well as his first wife Irene Virgin (2007), and infant daughter Sylvia. Frank will be missed by his daughter, Sharon Helgrun of Vancouver; his granddaughter Chantelle and his adopted sons Doug and Allen. Special step-dad of Réal Clifford (Karen), Kim Clifford, and the late Allen Clifford and step-grandpa of Sarah and Ashley. Dear brother of the late James Gemmill (1991), Beth Rochon of Perth, Bob Gemmill (Val) of Sydenham, Paul Gemmill and Ian Gemmill (Doris), both of McDonald’s Corners. Frank was a proud and long-time truck driver. He worked for Smiths Construction in Arnprior; the Dochart Brick & Tile, Arnprior; Sullivan Construction, Arnprior; Noran Leasing and Great West Carriers where he spent his final years driving. Frank’s final care and arrangements were entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A Funeral Liturgy was webcast live on Thursday morning, March 4th at 11 o’clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior.
