I have very fond memories of happy occasions with the Collins' family growing up in Germany and Ottawa. When I think of the many times when our families went camping, had picnics, or held a weekend family dinner, I always think of Barbara Collins and her energy, intelligence, and warm heart. I offer my condolences to Jennifer and Katie and your families and I can assure you that your mother will be well remembered.

Paddy and Barb were very much part of my life for several decades. I was a regular attendee of the "Isheloner Pilsner hour" gatherings at the Collins house. I grew up with Jenny and Kate and the Collins's were part of my family life. Dad and Mom and Paddy and Barb were lifelong friends. i remember Barb's flight training in the 70"s. Paddy would explain the details of VFR and IFR qualification and how many "touch and go's" Barb had achieved in her latest flight training runs.
