Dear Danielle, Marc, Paul, Mariette et M. Legault. My thoughts and prayers are with you during these difficult times of having lost such a beautiful family member Pierre. I unfortunately have not seen Pierre since 1979 when I spent two weeks at your Fort Lauderdale house. I thank my lucky stars that I found Pierre on Facebook on January 24, 2021, yes just a few months ago, and instantly I recognized his sweet face from his FB page. We exchanged a few messages through Messenger. At first I didn't know if he'd remember me, but he did. I sent him photos of him I took in 1979. He was very thankful for reaching out to him and sending him the photos. We talked about seeing each other on one of my next trips to Ottawa and I look so much forward to see him. His very last few words to me "Please take care". My heart is so broken that I never had the opportunity to see him before he left. Pierre is an angel. He re-connected me with Danielle who was a special teen age friend and unfortunately we had lost contact in the early 90's. Ironically, less than two months before he left, he did just that, reconnected me with the family. I'm sending you a big hug, Danielle, Marc, Paul, Mariette and M. Legault. I'm looking forward to hopefully see you soon. Cherish those beautiful memories of Pierre. His love and his smile will be forever in your heart.
