Obituary of Gordon Nichols

With sadness the family announces that Gordon passed away peacefully at The Grove Nursing Home in Arnprior in the early morning hours of Sunday, April 18, 2021; Gordon Francis Nichols, a lifelong resident of Calabogie was in his 85th year. Beloved husband of the late Sheila nee Murphy(1994). Dearly loved father of Charles Nichols (Susan Gagnon) of Arnprior. Cherished grandfather of Shaun Nichols, Colleen Nichols, Jason Nichols (Krystiin)and Kayla Nichols (Craig Warchow) and great-grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Bernard (Esther) of Clayton and Al (June) of Gananoque. Son of the late Herman and Florence (nee Riopelle) Nichols, Gordon was also predeceased by 2 brothers: George (late Ann) and Freddy (late Fern) as well as his only sister, Margaret Senack (late Henry). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A private family visitation will take place at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior followed by a graveside service at Precious Blood Cemetery, Calabogie.
