Dear Steph,
I finally found the perfect man in you. Kind giving, helpful, generous, genuine,Beautiful & loving. You loved the outdoors & nature, you loved your work(your second home). You were a man of simple needs not flashy not loud, just you. You gave a hand to whom ever neede it, you unwillingly gave a piece of your heart to whom ever you bumped into. Everyone at your park(dog) new who you were just because of your Big Smile & a touch of wittiness.
Steph you are sorly missed by all of your people, your family neighbors,Dog park people(dogs too) & the Boys at work ,....But I think I'm the one who will be missing you the most.Happy times spent together every day for the last 4 years. Going o the boat after dinner to have our coffee just sitting there n the water.
We had fun together Steph, never ever an argument, just plain old sillyness & laughs, hugs & kisses. Happy with where our lives were going & your Baby Girl Bella by your side riding the waves with you.
We had a Wonderful but short life together. I'm glad I got to spend the best years of your life with you Steph& Miss Bella.
I know you're awaiting her to arrive & o will follow.
C U Soon Steph
I Love You Forever

Worked with Stephane for a number of years and have many great memories of him. He was always positive and in good spirits no matter what was going on. Always had a smile on his face and was willing to help anyone or make you laugh. The kind of guy who would give you the shirt off his own back if you needed one. I am very sorry for the loss in your family.

My neighbor for over 10 years. Always willing to help others. He is the kind of guy that would be out there at 5 am after the snow-plows dropped 4ft at the end of the driveway. If I got out there before him, I could only hope that I could be half the man he was. Very kind, generous, and smart. Listen Steph, you better save me a seat up there!
To the friends and family we have lost a very cool guy! My sincere condolences. James.

I met Stéphane a very long time ago, over 30 years now and have not been in touch since our paths crossed... life just went on. I remember him as very kind, gentle and funny, with that angelic smile and those sparkling eyes, I thought he was so cool and what a charmer! I take comfort in knowing he was cherished and loved by his family, his lifelong friends and his colleagues. I am shocked that he is gone so soon and so genuinely sad for all of you. My deepest and sincere sympathies, as you remember your father, your son, your friend. Isabelle

It was a pleasure working with you Steph. It was so refreshing to hear that you genuinely loved your job. Your positive energy made my work days more enjoyable.
It was only a few days ago you had me drop to the ground in laughter. I will miss your jokes and giggle. Rip Stephy. I hope there is a new Suby with you up above.

Dear Stéphane
There is not one thing that I will forget about you. I had the pleasure of working with you for 3 summers has your summer student, Everyday when we got to work you always had a smile on your face and where always ready to go and keep the park safe for the kids. I still remember you saying that i do this job for the kids and when i started I soon realized the job we did was for the kids. I remember the day that we where working and I got a machine stuck in the sand. I remember us having to get it out and you showing me how i made my mistake and teach me now to make sure that would not happen again. Steph you are one of the reasons that helped me pick my career. I wish I had the time to tell you all the stuff that happen when i went to roads this winter and i am sure you would of had a good laugh. I will always carry these memory's that you gave me. To a good Co-worker and a good Friend. May you Rest in Peace.
My deepest condolences to all his friends and Family

I had the absolute pleasure of working with Steph my first year at The City. We worked together in maintaining the parks, he took great pride in the job as he always said “I have the best job, it’s all for the kids. Nothing makes me happier then seeing the kids smiling and playing safely in the parks we maintain.” Though we were distant in age (it sure didn’t feel like it) we both loved to joke all day long and had many of the same passions. We both loved talking about our dogs and we tried to pet every dog that came into the park. We both drove dodge trucks at work/for our personal vehicles, we talked about how we should be on our boats floating down the river instead of being at work on a hot summer day, we talked about how we both had our tree/hedge jobs as a side gig, and so much more. Steph had that ability of making a silent room erupt into laughter, with that silly joke, silly laugh and boyish smile. He was truly one of a kind. He was someone you could open up too, without even hesitating, he had helpful advice about life or you knew he already had a joke lined up to make yeah smile even at the hardest of times. We shared many laughs over morning/afternoon coffees. In such a short time we grew so close that we exchanged spaghetti sauce’s and I even brought him vegetables from my garden. He always so genuinely excited for anyone who took pride in whatever life goal they accomplished. It breaks my heart we won’t be able to meet up on our boats this year, but I know he will be right there with me in spirit. I want to extend my deepest condolence to his family, he always talked about how proud he was of you. He was truly a wonderful man that touched so many lives everywhere he went. Steph I only had a short time with you but you made my life that much better. Thank you for all the laughs and good times. Rest In Peace my friend. I know your floating around in a boat with all the dogs coffee and relaxation you deserve. Save a space for me when it’s my turn, I know you will. Love yeah buddy

Bon courage.

Dear Stephane
You were one of a kind of person. That had an extraordinary personality and made everyone know that you were in the room, even if you were siting in a corner. When you first met me, you like me from the get go and the conversations that we had made our friendship stronger. At that time you were going through a hard time in your life. I would give you comforting words and support with joking around. Later on in life it happened to me and you did the same thing giving me comforting words and support. coming to work every day knowing that you were there made everything seem a little easier, now that you're gone it will be hard. I'd remember you telling me this is your work family you can count on us. Now that you're gone I'm hearing all this stories of how much you are missed. You would make people feel at ease with your simple conversations of anything and everything. When you were alive you were very much appreciated, now that you have passed away you are terribly missed.
Goodbye
My deepest condolences to Stephane family and friends

You are the greatest love of my life. My heart aches you left us just like this in the blink of an eye.
I do remember the twinkle in your eye and your smile even when you knew you were in trouble. You made us laugh so many times. You work so hard all your life so my only consolation now is that you can rest in peace for the rest of your life.
You will always be in my heart

No words can express the shock and sadness. Growing up together I remember getting caught smoking by grandma and then having our moms make us smoke that cigarette and we both turned green lol. Making forts in the snow on the side of the building on muir or hanging in the park. Having fun in mimi's pool with the kids when they were young when I came over for a visit in orleans or listening to you playing guitar with your friend pat
You'll never be forgotten cousin.. till we meet again. Your only a heartbeat away. I know your smiling down at us with grandma. Give her a big hug for me.

To my best friend STEPHANE,
Since i`ve met you in 1981, you`re like a true brother to me, we`ve grown and shared life together with so much pleasures, you we`re my true confident. You`re gone to soon, i miss you deeply, i feel sad but i rejoice myself to have been lucky enough to have met and known you, and that in my heart, our friendship will still keep growing because we know that distance never separated us and never will.
I want people to remember you as a guy with good values, always available for anyone, helpful, devoted, generous, your great sense of humour, so kind so endearing, your love for animals, a perfect example for humanity.
I cherish all souvenirs of us at school, Muir street, playing music, our trip to California in 1989, visiting you in Ottawa and you coming to Montreal and obviously all souvenirs with your family, your kids, your girlfriends and all your friends.
I wish you the most fulfilling happiness,
may God bless your fraternal soul,
and may the Divine light be with you, STEPHANE, my best friend

Tribute to a lost friend.
Stephane Moisant, it was a pleasure working with you brother.I always enjoyed your presence and your excitement to cut down trees.
The way you got excited hearing me fix your saws or small engines to get back out there and limb every branch you could reach, filling a truck every hour. We understand wy the bosses limited you to hand tools some days.
You always smiled and had many encouraging words of wisdom, you alway knew how to get my mind off work and always enjoyed cheking in on me while asking about the welfare of my dogs! We are going to miss you deeply around here.
I will truely miss working with you and drinking a cold one with you.
Take care my friend you will be missed by many but never forgotten.
My deepest condolences
