Obituary of John Mellor

With sadness, the family announces that John passed away at the Ottawa Hospital – Civic Campus early Wednesday morning, April 28, 2021; John William Mellor of Ottawa was 85. Beloved husband of Margaret “Marg” (nee Stanton). Father of Tom Mellor (Kathy) and Terry Mellor (Vicki). Grandfather of 4 and great-grandfather of one great-granddaughter. Dear brother of Patricia Shane (Ken). Fondly remembered by the Stanton family: Gerald and Marilyn, George and Janet, Marian and Garry Fisher. Predeceased by a son, Stephen Mellor; a sister, Marion Nolan; a brother, Brian Mellor (Brenda) and a sister-in-law, Patsy Stanton. Son of the late Edward and Ellen (nee Boland) Mellor. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. John’s final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. Extended family and friends may join us on their electronic devices for a Service to webcast live on Monday afternoon, May 3rd at 3 o’clock.
