Obituary of Ginette Pawluck

It is with broken hearts that the family announce the passing of their much beloved matriarch, Ginette Pawluck who passed away August 2, 2021. Ginette was born in Montreal, Quebec August 17, 1936. There she met the love of her life Freddy Pawluck in 1955, and was married August 3, 1957. To her greatest joy, Ginette gave birth to a daughter Lucie (1960) and a son Normand (1963). Ginette and her tiny family moved to Arnprior in August 1966 where Ginette was at her happiest as a homemaker lovingly caring for her family. Later in life much to her delight came 4 grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Always a smile on her face and love for everyone, after 85 years Ginette’s huge joyous heart needed a rest. Loving wife of 64 years to husband Freddy Pawluck. Much adored mother of Lucie Pawluck Gilchrist and Normand Pawluck. Sweet and kind mother-in-law of Brian Pratt, Patrick Gilchrist, and Liane Seguin Pawluck. Treasured grandmother of Sasha Gilchrist (Noah), Rebecca Douvinos (James), Graham Pawluck (Luisa Cardona), and Calvin Pawluck (Cassandra Facchini). Ginette's final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A quiet private burial of her ashes will take place at the Arnprior Cemetery where her immediate family will say their final earthly goodbyes until they meet again in the heavens. A huge thank you to the outstanding staff at the Arnprior Memorial Hospital where doctors and the wonderful and amazing nurses kept Ginette comfortable and well cared for during these last few weeks. Gratitude to Dr. J. Becker who has kindly cared for both Ginette and Freddy for many years now.
