Obituary of Sylvia Desarmia

DESARMIA, Sylvia Marie (nee Derochie) Peacefully at Stoneridge Manor, Carleton Place on Sunday afternoon, September 12, 2021; Sylvia Marie Desarmia of Arnprior passed away at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife for over 40 years of the late Melville “Mel” Desarmia (November 30, 1997). Dearly loved mother of Jeff Desarmia (Joanne) and Brenda Morrison (Danny Kingsbury). Cherished “Nan” of Lindsey Boisvert (Jamie), Leslie Arden (Adam), Mitchell Morrison (Katelyn) and Curtis Morrison (Melany Box). Great-grandmother of 7 great-granddaughters. Predeceased by brothers: Clifford Derochie (late Peggy), George Derochie (late Mary) and sisters: Lucy Carbonetto (late Joseph) and Doris Bedore (late Clifford). Survived by sister-in-law Faye Kerr (Clayton) of Stittsville. Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, neighbors and great friends. Sylvia’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. Extended family, neighbors and friends are invited to Sylvia’s Funeral Mass to be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Thursday morning, September 16th at 11 o’clock.
