Obituary of Ben Tanguay

(Retired Nu-Tech Precision Metals) With heavy hearts, the family announces that Ben passed away peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Thursday afternoon, October 14, 2021; Benedict David Tanguay Jr. of Arnprior was 75 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Shelley (nee Kippen). Dearly loved and devoted father of Stacey Kearns (Jordan) and Scott Tanguay, all of Arnprior. Cherished and proud “Poppa” of Sadie and Van. Much loved brother of: Ronnie Tanguay (Marilyn) of Bryson, QC; Judy Jewell (George) of Fort Coulonge, QC; Pat Tanguay of Portage du Fort, QC and Jayne Tanguay (Stu Gordon) of Sacramento, California. Predeceased by his parents, Benedict Sr. and Gwendolyn (nee Elliott) Tanguay as well as two brothers: Robert and James. Ben held a very special place in the hearts of many nieces and nephews. Ben’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where friends may pay their final respects on Thursday evening, October 21st from 6 to 7:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Friday morning, October 22nd at 11 o’clock. Interment White Lake Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Ben, a donation to the Palliative Care Fund of the Arnprior Hospital would be appreciated.
