I am so sad to read about Zeke’s passing. I recall the high schools days and reflect on such a soft spoken guy and always the perfect gentleman. He was one of a kind.

My fond memories go way way back to Hugh (BELL St ) and Victoria Streets as we met as preschoolers and went on to St. Joseph and ADHS . Unfortunately I now only have two occasions from the past twenty five years that we spent some time together but they were special . Friendships, like we experienced, do not seem to survive in today's tech molded lifestyles .

We were sorry to read about Czes' death. He was an easy going, gentle person who loved to have a chat whenever we met downtown. He was always ready to share about his enjoyment of listening to music. Joe remembers Czes's colouring skills when they went to elementary school together--it was the first time Joe had seen someone outline the picture and then shade it in--a lasting impression on Joe these many years later!
May all good memories live on even as you grieve his death.

Irene&Tom,sorry to here of Zeke's passing.I first met Zeke in the early sixties when your family lived on 4th. Ave.We had lots of good times on the Avenues, and I always enjoyed "re-living" those times when I ran into "Zeke".

So sorry to hear of Czes' passing. Growing up on the same street, he would often stop by for a chat on his way home and later we both took the same course at Algonquin College, driving in to Ottawa together. My condolences to Irene and family, he will be missed.

Sorry to hear of Czes’s passing. Growing up our families were well entwined in the neighborhood and Zeke was often at our house. He always had the time to stop and chat when passing - great conversations filled with tidbits of interesting facts. He will be missed.

Patti and I are saddened to hear of Zeke’s passing. Our deepest condolences to the Forgiel and Dontigny families. He was a great guy and liked his tunes. Whenever we met either downtown or in a shop the conversation would always be music or how my brother Alan was doing. I’ll miss those chats we had and we will miss Zeke. RIP my friend.
