Janet, so, so sorry to hear of Barrie’s passing. He is free of pain and will RIP.
He was fun to play golf with and to have chats with at the “office”.....some good, some bad, but still fun. Will miss him for sure.
Stay strong, Janet, as you have with Pat, now Barrie. May you find comfort in your fond memories. Thank the Lord for family & friends to help you through this difficult time.
Again, our condolences to you and your extended family.

Dear Janet, Kirsten, Barrie and families, I always enjoyed my interactions with Barrie. So friendly, so forthright! Fun to be with! This is a terrible loss for you, in what has been a very difficult year. I know that your wonderful memories of your family times, and the support that you get, and give each other, will help during this sad time. Please accept my sincere sympathy.

Dear Janet, ‘little’ Barrie and Kirsten
Mike and I send you our love, thoughts, prayers and condolences. Barrie had quite the struggle with his health this past few years
and the time came for him to close his eyes for his final sleep. I know it will be a wonderful one…restful, peaceful, free of pain and full of pleasant dreams!
Our family remembers many happy visits with your family when our kids were younger…most especially several Thanksgiving weekends that we celebrated together. Maybe the most memorable time though was the weekend Janet that you and Barrie and Mike and I hosted for our many nieces and nephews at Farran Park. It was to celebrate The International Year of the Child and what a celebration it was.
In recent years I always got to have some visiting time with Barrie when you spoiled us Janet, with your amazing lasagna dinners.
It was time for Barrie to leave us but he touched many lives and will be missed.
Much love and deepest sympathy to you and your individual families.
Toby & Mike

I will miss Barrie and his very different dry sense of humour .. always a quick wit to inject into the conversation.
Barrie and I had a special friendship in our early childhood days growing up in Rosemere. He was a private kind of person yet we grew close. And over the years, we supported each other through some of our challenges. Then when he married his lovely wife Janet, they offered me hope and support at a very difficult time in my life. I will always be grateful to both Barrie and Janet for their meaningful support. Then later in years, we bonded deeper while their youngest son, Patrick, was suffering from his serious health conditions. I am happy to be part of those memories too. To happier times .. and a very special memory was celebrating Barrie and Janet's 50th Golden Anniversary with my husband Peter, in Good Ole Nashville, Tennessee ! Here's a photo of our evening celebrating with friends we invited to join us. Peter and I send Love and Blessings to Janet, Barrie, Jr. and Kirsten Families and all my siblings at this time of Barrie's passing to a more peaceful place.

Mrs.Taylor, Barrie, Kirsten and family,
I was so sorry to hear about Mr.Taylor's passing I was so lucky to have spent so much time in your family home in Manotick. It felt like a second home to me. Everyone was so welcoming. I have so many fond memories of having chats and laughs in the kitchen with Mr. Taylor. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

So sorry for your loss Janet, Barrie and Kirsten. Barrie hired me for my first full-time job in 1979. He was tough but fair and I was always very appreciative that he hired me! He and Janet “hired” me to babysit Barrie Jr and Kirsten as well. A very lovely family. Keep your memories close to your heart and he will always be near.

Both Janet and I wish to send our condolences to Janet, Barrie Jr., Kirsten and family`s. I will miss his sense of humour and laughter. We played many a game of golf together at Manotick and will miss the odd wager with him, which he always seemed to collect on. I know that both my wife Janet and Barrie`s wife Janet will not forget my 40th birthday lunch!!! It was a whole day marathon that ended with a broken door!!! Have a laugh about that Janet. I am enclosing a couple of pictures for some remember when`s. We know he is at peace now, and probably improving his handicap with Patrick!! God bless Barrie till we have the next game. Love from Nick and Janet.
