Obituary of Kimberly "Kim" Blimkie

(Retired – Royal Bank, Arnprior) With heavy hearts, the family announces that Kim passed away peacefully at the Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew on Friday morning, December 10, 2021. She was 60. Kim was the beloved wife, best friend and the love of her husband Keith’s life. Dearly loved and proud Mom of Brittni (Ben Heyman) and Josh Blimkie. Cherished “Nan Kim” of Rowan. Daughter of Margaret Craig (nee Bellman) and the late Hubert Craig. Dear sister of her twin, Ken Craig and Penny Craig (Brent McLean). Special daughter-in-law of Lawrence and Yvette Blimkie and sister-in-law of Raymond Blimkie (Deb), Brian Blimkie (Maureen), Karen Lunn (Steve) and the late Bruce Blimkie. Predeceased by a brother, Brian Craig. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and so many wonderful friends. Through thick and thin, Kim faced her journey with MS with courage and hope. Her struggles have ended. Though a kind and gentle spirit has gone to rest, Kim’s memory will live on in those who knew her. Heartfelt thanks to Sue Eddie and Michelle Wall for the unwavering love and support shown to Kim and her family. Kim’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where a visitation will be held on Monday evening, December 13th from 6 to 8 p.m. A service in memory of Kim will be webcast live from the Pilon Family Chapel on Tuesday morning, December 14th at 11 o’clock. Private inurnment Albert Street Cemetery Columbarium. In remembrance, donations to the MS Society of Canada or the Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew would be most appreciated by Kim’s family.
