Obituary of Catherine "Cathy" Nicholas

(Cashier – No Frills, Arnprior) With heavy hearts the family announces that Cathy passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital – General Campus while surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday morning, January 11, 2022. Catherine Jeannine Nicholas of Arnprior was only 61. Beloved wife and best friend for almost 43 years of Ray. Much loved mother of Ray Jr. of Braeside, Amy Harbert (Colin) of Cobden and Angie Kelly (Paul) of Almonte. Cherished “Nanna and Grandma” of Chloe, Lily, Paige and Andrew. Dear sister of Brian Martin, Eileen Kelly (Francis), Linda Dubois (Howard), Donna Patrick and Karen Nicholas (Gary). Sister-in-law of Hazel Schnob (Denis) and Linda Martin. Predeceased by her parents: Rudolph and Lois (nee Brownrigg) Martin as well as two brothers: Gerald “Butch” and Larry “Beaver” Martin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Cathy’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A tribute to Cathy will be webcast live from the Pilon Family Chapel on Friday morning, January 14th at 11 o’clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior.
