Obituary of Doris Lunney

(Retired – BASF, Arnprior) With sadness the family announces that their beloved mother, Doris Verla Lunney (nee McLean) of Fitzroy Harbour passed away at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital on Wednesday evening, January 12, 2022. She was in her 92nd year. Wife of the late James Lunney (September 4, 1989). Dearly loved mother of Veronica Fox of Rohnert Park, California; Leah Anne Lewis (Bob) of Vancouver, BC; Jim Lunney (Debbie) of Fitzroy Harbour; Jane Lunney (Karen deHoog) of Fitzroy Harbour and Stephen Lunney of Arnprior. Cherished and proud Nanny of five grandchildren; Aleisha Hanna (John), Kayla Lunney (Tom Engelberts), Josh Lunney (Allison Wilson), John Lewis (Napatsi Folger) and Collin Fox. Great grandmother of eight: Bradley, Lylah, Waylon, Ruby, Quinn, Mae, Rheannon and Lilly. Dear sister of Florence Obst (late Gordon), Phyllis Miller, Irma Miller (late Art), Vivian Melanson (Stewart), Calvin McLean (late Marilyn), Penny MacMillan (Donnie) and Rod McLean (Brenda). Predeceased by her parents; William and Edra (nee Taylor) McLean as well as brother: Ray (Libby) and Delmar (Lois). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where a Family Funeral Liturgy will webcast live from the Pilon Family Chapel on Thursday morning, January 20th at 11:00 am.
