Obituary of Sara Jean McKeddie

(February 23, 1989 – January 20, 2022)

With great sadness and broken hearts the family announce that their beloved Sara passed away surrounded by love at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Thursday, January 20, 2022. Loving daughter of Randy and Karen (nee Raycroft) McKeddie. Most precious Mom of her two boys: David (5) and Jesse (3). She is also survived by her dear sister, Jamie McKeddie (Jay Owens) and proud brothers: Jeff Dowd (Becky) and Rob Dowd (Lorrie); 4 nephews: Liam and Rian, Owen and Grady; 2 nieces: Autumn and Grace as well as many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She will be sadly missed by her Nanny Lois McKeddie (late Don). Predeceased by her grandparents Harold and Norma Raycroft. Until we meet again Dolly. Sara Jean’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A private family graveside service will take place at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior later in the Spring. In memory, please consider a donation to CHEO.

Forever Grateful

We would truly like to thank all our community, family and friends, our neighbours, school teachers, churches and the paramedics for their support and warm understanding during this difficult time. All of the food and goodies sent over, the beautiful flowers, donations, many sympathy cards and phone calls and gift cards for the two children were greatly appreciated. Most of all-your kind encouraging words and loving memories shared of Sara were so very comforting and shall be cherished always.
