I'm a friend of Sophie and Danielle and thanks to them, I had the pleasure of meeting Rachel in Paris. We took some pleasant walks together in Montmartre, shared meals occasionally and had a lovely time.
I do remember her gentle smile, the photo you chose does her justice.
Danielle let me know of her passing today, I had sent her birthday wishes via "messenger" only a few hours before, hoping that someone of her family could let her know, as I was aware she had been in great pain lately.
I wish to all the ones who love her to be granted the grace of remembering all the lively and happy moments shared with Rachel now that she has found peace. With deepest sympathy. Mireille Doumenq.
