Obituary of Erika Grassmann

(nee Tobien) Peacefully at the Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew on Tuesday, February 1, 2022; Erika Grassmann, formerly of Arnprior and White Lake passed away at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of Guenter. Daughter of the late Willhelm and Helene Tobien. Predeceased by siblings Horst, Elizabeth, Heinz and Helga. Erika was a long-time resident of White Lake and later Arnprior. She arrived in Canada from Germany in 1955 and moved to White Lake with her husband Guenter. Erika was an expert seamstress and she worked at Paddye Mann's studio in Pakenham for many years. She will be missed by friends here and in Germany. A quiet, gentle soul has gone to rest. Erika’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior. A private inurnment will take place at the Albert Street Cemetery Columbarium, Arnprior at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations could be made to Arnprior , Braeside, McNab Seniors at Home Support Program.
