To Margaret and all of the extended Fisher family, Shirley and I send our heartfelt condolences. We so appreciated John’s friendship. Kind, generous, thoughtful of others, and a true gentleman. John was all these. For me (Boris) John was a faithful friend in whom I could confide and trust, and who would overlook my shortcomings for the sake of our friendship. I will always remember the many get togethers for coffee, the morning bike rides, the September hiking trips to the Adirondacks, the hiking trip to Wales, and the monthly movie nights with John. I will miss him greatly. “... there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” (Proverbs 18: 24)
