The Paquettes were like second parents to me when I was growing up. They were right next door with their words of wisdom. I will always cherish the years with Peter and Michael as playmates. The last time I saw the Paquettes was a little over 7 years ago just before they moved out of their longtime house. I just had to see them again when I found out they were moving. I can remember Mr. Paquette helping my father build a shed in our backyard when my father was no longer very well. He also once saved our house from catching fire when a pizza box ignited inside our oven. In other words, he’s a hero. I believe Mr. Paquette still had considerable life left in him and am genuinely sad that he’s gone. I give my most sincere sympathies to all of his family.
