Obituary of Anne George

March 16, 1938 – March 7, 2022 With sadness the family announces that Anne George of Arnprior passed away peacefully at Orchardview by the Mississippi, Almonte on Monday morning, March 7, 2022. She was 83. Beloved wife of the late Ken George (1992). Treasured and proud Mom of Lorraine “Lory” George (Victor Fortin) of Arnprior, Jennifer Milk (Geoff Colley) of Kanata and Ben George (Alexis) of Carp. Cherished “GG” of 7 grandchildren: Benjamin Burtnyk, Anne-Marie Milk-Jesse (Martin), Stephanie Poulin (Hamoudi Asiri), Holly Devine (Jake), Cameron George, Victoria George, Evelyn George and 4 great-grandchildren: Rachel, Oliver, Julian and Elias. Dear sister of Patsy Mullen (Jimmy) of Carleton Place, Lois Woolsey (Bruce) of Russell and Judy Armstrong of Virginia Beach, Virginia. Special aunt of Patrick Graham. Daughter of the late Bernard “Bernie” and Geraldine “Gerry” Milton, Anne was also predeceased by a sister, Susan Milton. Anne’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where a funeral service will be webcast live from the Pilon Family Chapel on Tuesday morning, March 15th at 11 o’clock.
