So sorry for your loss. Pat lived beside us many, many years ago in Ottawa on Walkley Rd. I can remember her kind smile so well and all the laughs we had with Bev and the family. I am sure she will be missed by many, but has left a legacy of goodness for those who knew her. I have such fond childhood memories of Pat. She taught me in St. Mary's Carleton Place. She always made me feel so special picking me to stay after school to clean the black boards. The exciting part was she would drive me home in her shiny green car. At Christmas I always bought her "Charlie" perfume. GREAT LADY! RIP Mrs Shaw

Pat Shaw was my first principal and helped me through those first few tough years as a new teacher. I was an Arnprior girl working in Carleton Place, and so was she. Acquainted with my family, she took it upon herself to look out for me and forgave my (many) rookie mistakes! RIP Pat ☘️

My sympathy to all of Pat's family both the Gorman's and the Shaw's and to Dino. Pat was a wonderful friend. She was blessed with a lot of wisdom and common sense. I enjoyed teaching with Pat and always loved our telephone conversations once I left the area. She will certainly be missed. Maureen Quinn
