Obituary of John Stack

(Retired – Lockheed Martin) (March 29, 1941 – March 26, 2022) With great sadness the family announces that John passed away at The Grove Nursing Home in Arnprior on Saturday afternoon, March 26, 2022, just 3 days shy of his 81st birthday. Beloved husband of Colette (nee Bastien). John was predeceased by his first wife, Gwen (nee Gallagher) October 3, 1990. Proud father of Sean (Jenn). Dear brother of Margaret Dupuis (late Ernie), Bernadette McCormick (late Ron), Gerald (Bobbie), Leo (Sylvia Renwick-Murdock), Rosemary Weisflock (Jim), Walter (Barb), Leonard (Mary), Tommy (Ingrid) and Jim (Sharon). Also survived by Collette’s daughters: Julie and Suzanne. Lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and many great friends. Predeceased by his loving parents, Leo and Theresa “Tessie” (nee Scott) Stack as well as his sister, Betty Fevreau. John’s final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, March 30th from 4 to 7 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Friday morning, April 1st at 11 o’clock. Spring interment St. Michael’s Parish Cemetery, Fitzroy Harbour. In memory of John, please consider a donation to The Grove Nursing Home, Arnprior.
