I was saddened to read that Dawn had passed away. We knew each other when Dawn was part of the news crew at CJCI in Prince George, BC. She was a close friend and colleague. She showed compassion, empathy and wisdom. Her sense of humor will also be missed. My condolences to her family.
Dear Dawns family . I was shocked and saddened upon hearing the news of dawns death last week . I knew and became good friends with dawn in while in japan in 1996-1998 . We worked at the same company and she lived in the small unit above . We used to go out every second night for dinner together at izakayas (small restaurants ) and we had lots of laughs together . It was around this time she had just met Gord . I remember her being super excited about him coming over to be with her . I spent most of my free time upstairs at their appt playing cards and having laughs . If it wasn’t for dawn I would have had a very lonely and aweful time there . She was intelligent and wise and had a good sense of humour . You died way too young Dawn :( my condolences to all of your family. from Julie Sutherland in Melb, Aus.

Dawn was well liked by all that knew her. She also had a wisdom and awareness of what was happening in the world. She was good for Gordy in the time they had together. RIP
