I miss you so much. Life feels empty and meaningless. I still cry all the time, how am I going to live out the rest of my life with any peace or happiness in my heart. A year 3 months since you’ve gone it appears I will never be happy again. Not many understand this journey; not only loosing their love after 20 years but at 40 to a terminal cancer having to be their caretaker. I still get haunted by flashbacks of seizures and how swollen you were, watching your body break down, watching you slowly die in-front of me, yet people say “be positive” “you’re still young” they have NO idea. Caregiver PTSD ruins you, i wouldn’t change a thing because I love you but my mental state is not great and damages you for the rest of your life, people seems to think you should be ok now, time erases the bad, they have NO IDEA! I wish I was with you.
One of the kindest souls I have ever known. Gone far too soon. You will be missed and your memory cherished by all those who had the privilege of knowing you. My heart goes out to you Shawn and Linda.
My sincere condolences Shawn. Andrew was such a wonderful person. I relied on him for his expertise in graphic design. He was so talented and such fun to work with. He always had time, worked so quickly and has such amazing ideas. But the best thing of all was he was so funny. I could always count on him to make me laugh, or I would make him laugh. My heart is broken by his passing. He will forever be missed.

I had the honour to work with Andy at TOH. He welcomed me into the print/ graphics department and quickly brought me up to speed. I will miss our white hot chocolates and will always member the day you took the flowers homes. You fought this short battle with courage and grace, one would expect nothing else from you.

My best friend, my comfort, my support, my safe place, my everything for 20 years, my Andy is gone after a near 10 month battle. Some people don’t get to experience the love we shared in their lifetimes, I’m glad I had him as long as I did, I’m angry because he didn’t have a fighting chance and we were cheated decades together. No more fighting and struggling through Glioblastoma, Andy is at peace from this soul crushing terminal cancer. He was a fighter!
