Cliffie was such a character. Always smiling and sometimes up to no good (but not really). Always game for a few laughs and always a pleasure to be around. We will miss him, and his cheerful demeanor, deeply. The Bay lost one of the good ones and it now seems a whole lot quieter. Doug and the guys are going to miss their "garage" time so don't be surprised if you look out and see them in there reminiscing and toasting Cliff. Cliff fought stoically and now is his time to rest in peace. We are thinking of you, Doris, during this difficult time and hope that your memories will bring you comfort as well as knowing that Cliffie may be gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
Our most sincere condolences, Doris, to you and your family. Love Tracey, Doug and Chelsea

Sincere condolences to the family. Cliff was always a great guy to banter with about cars, hockey, and general guy stuff, and will be greatly missed by all.

Clifford will be missed so much by his family and friends. He was a great guy. Over the last few months he reminded us just how strong he was even facing very difficult times. He was absolutely loved and respected. We will think of him often and smile.
Love Aunt Ruth and Donna Wood

To the entire Elford family, everyone at Carling Motors would like to share in extending our deepest condolences to each of you, and especially Dave who also shared time here at Carling Motors. Cliff worked for Carling for many years, building great relationships with both customers and staff, with his bigger than ever smile, quick wit and extensive vehicle knowledge. Cliff Elford,
The "Coach" that called me kid when I joint WCOHA for the first time; when I started playing hockey for the Old timers league I made it on Cliff’s Team that first year, I was 37 years old then but I was the kid to him. My friend you will be sorely missed but your memories will always live on and you’ll never be forgotten. To the Elford Family my deepest sympathy and prayers are with you in this time of grief.
