Obituary of Dennis Schnob

(Founder of Schnob Roofing, Arnprior)

With heavy hearts, the family announces that Dennis passed away peacefully at home with loved ones by his side on Friday afternoon, May 20, 2022; Dennis Edmund Schnob of Arnprior was in his 83^rd year. Beloved husband of Hazel (nee Nicholas, formerly Martin). Loved father of Dwayne (Cathleen) and Debbie Bernique. Dear stepfather of Kim Forsythe (Pat Gougeon), Scott Martin (Shauna Moore), Carry-Anne Dolan (Harold Collis) and Shelly Martin (Jamie Jones). Dear brother of Loretta Auld (late Charles) and brother-in-law of Marilyn Schnob (late Donald). Predeceased by his parents, Henry and Josephine (nee Massey) Schnob, Dennis was also predeceased by 4 sisters: Doreen Muldoon (late Carl), Rose Hauser (late Joe), Gladys Lapierre (late Roger Vincent) and Theresa Desjardins. Also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Though Dennis was well known as an excellent roofer in our area, he will be long remembered for the magical Christmas Decoration Display that he so proudly set up for all of us to enjoy at his home on Allan Drive every year. Dennis’ final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior where visitation will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 9:45 to 10:15 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Braeside on Friday morning, May 27^th at 11 o’clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior. In his memory, please consider a donation to the Arnprior and District Humane Society.
